As one of our employees will be on leave to fulfill military service, we are looking for temporary swimming staff. For the right person, there may be an opportunity for extended employment after the temporary position ends.

Arena Skövde is a multi-facility open 365 days a year for sports, swimming, relaxation, rehabilitation, strength training, and public events. We are about 30 people working at Arena Skövde.

Our customer-focused operations are in constant development and have resulted in being awarded Sweden's best adventure pool by barnsemester.se for five consecutive years.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As swimming staff with us, you will have a varied and active job where your tasks include swimming, relaxation, and swimming activities. You are responsible for monitoring safety in the facility and providing our guests with a safe and positive experience with a high level of service. The job also includes work in the arena's reception and other tasks within the swimming operations. Customer service is a central part of the assignment, and you are expected to always put the guest in focus and contribute to creating a pleasant environment and memorable experiences, and together with your colleagues, contribute to a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for our guests.

The operation has generous opening hours, which means that working hours are varied and may include evenings, holidays, and work every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good swimming skills and meets the requirements for work in a swimming facility.
• Has training as a swimming instructor/pool lifeguard or other equivalent training.
• Has CPR and water rescue training, or is willing to undergo such training (preferable if you already have it).
• Has previous experience of similar tasks.
• Experience in reception work is considered particularly meritorious.
• Has a genuine interest in wellness, safety, and service.
• As a person, you are responsible, engaged, and flexible. You have a good ability to meet people in a professional and service-oriented manner and can adapt your approach to each guest's needs.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The work involves varying working hours, including day, evening, and weekend work.

For the position, you must be at least 18 years old.
